Routine dental health reviews
Our focus at Temple Square Dental is on preventative dental care, designed to help you avoid dental problems so you can achieve and maintain a healthy mouth. We provide routine and specialist dental care to patients across Aylesbury and Buckinghamshire and further. Regular dental health reviews are recommended in order to spot concerns early, before they progress into more complex problems.
Routine dental health reviews are usually conducted every 6 or 12 months, depending on your requirement. Your dentist will recommend an appropriate recall frequency as required to maintain your personal oral health.
During each routine dental health assessment we’ll review:
- Signs of tartar build up and decay
- Identify any chips and cracks
- Health of gums
- Condition and functionality of any existing restorations such as fillings, crowns, bridges or dentures
- Jaw alignment and clicking
- Signs of stress and teeth grinding
- Oral cancer screening
We also recommended regular visits to our hygiene team for a thorough clean of your teeth and gums, stain removal, and oral health advise in order to support a comprehensive home care regime.
