How it works?

Who needs it and why?
There are are many patients who would benefit from tooth whitening because there are many causes of tooth discolouration. Some of the most common include the consumption of certain foods ( berries) and drinks (coffee, tea, red wine) antibiotics at a young age, ageing, smoking and trauma to teeth can also result in discolourations.
How long does it last ?
Indefinitely. Just simply touch up your teeth every few years for a few nights. Sometimes without a touch up, your teeth will start to restain by the same things that caused them to discolour in the first place.
Is the treatment safe?
Yes, clinical studies have shown that bleaching with carbamide/ hydrogen peroxide under the supervision of a dental professional is safe for teeth and gums.
What are the risks and side effects of the treatment?
For the majority of patients, there are none, however temporary sensitivity can affect some patients. If sensitivity is present, wear times can be shortened or made less frequent. Additionally desensitizing toothpastes, gels, or mouthwashes can be used before or after the whitening process.
